This is a pilot program for students in Grades 1-5 only.
Although there are many read-aloud videos on Youtube, participating in live sessions can engage students better. In addition, videos on Youtube do not explain new words or important details. It is also less interactive. Eduling International Academy is offering seven weekly 30-minute story sessions with famous children’s books. These are generally picture books with simple language. The teacher will read aloud the story, explain some new words and important details, ask questions, and answer questions from students.
Students will listen to the story, answer the teacher’s questions in a chat box, and raise their hand to be called to answer a question or to ask a question.
Day and Time: Sunday, 9:00-9:30am U.S. EST (8:15-8:45pm Vietnam Time)
Duration: February 16, 2020 – March 29, 2020

Requirements: To participate, students need to:
- Have some basic English
- Currently study in primary school
- Already know how to read and write in their mother tongue
- Complete an application form
- Be committed to participate in at least 5 out of 7 sessions
- Join a Facebook group for easy communication

Đọc Truyện Cùng Eduling International Academy
Đây là chương trình thử nghiệm miễn phí cho học sinh từ Lớp 1-5.
Tuy trên mạng có nhiều videos truyện trên Youtube, tham gia buổi đọc truyện trực tiếp sẽ giúp học sinh hứng thú hơn. Videos cũng không giải thích từ mới hay đặt câu hỏi cho học sinh. Eduling sẽ tổ chức 7 buổi đọc truyện tiếng Anh miễn phí dùng các cuốn sách trẻ em nổi tiếng ở Mỹ. Đây là những cuốn sách có tranh ảnh và ngôn ngữ tương đối đơn giản. Giáo viên sẽ đọc to truyện, giải thích từ mới và những nội dung quan trọng, đặt câu hỏi, và trả lời câu hỏi của học sinh.
Học sinh sẽ nghe truyện, gõ vào chat để trả lời câu hỏi, và giơ tay để được gọi nói.
Ngày và giờ: Chủ Nhật, 9-9:30 tối (giờ Việt Nam)
Thời lượng: Ngày 16 Tháng 2 Năm 2020 đến ngày 29 Tháng 3 Năm 2020
Yêu cầu cho học sinh: Để được mời học, học sinh cần:
- Đã có một chút tiếng Anh
- Hiện đang học lớp 1-5
- Đã biết đọc và viết tiếng mẹ đẻ
- Theo ít nhất 5 trong 7 buổi
- Khi được mời, phụ huynh tham gia nhóm Facebook để tiện liên lạc
