LEARNER ENGAGEMENT AND SUBJECTIVE RESPONSES TO TASKS IN AN EFL CONTEXT

Our recent research on the effect of choice on learner engagement and subjective responses to tasks found that learners were more engaged in the task with less constrained choice. Interestingly, they reported a higher level of enjoyment and also anxiety in the -constraint task.
